The Department for Work and Pensions have announced the proposed statutory weekly payment rates for 2012-13 will be:
- Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP)- £135.45
- Ordinary Statutory Paternity Pay - £135.45
- Additional Statutory Paternity Pay – £135.45
- Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP) – £135.45
- Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) – £85.85
For employees earning £107.00 or more per week, the above rate of SMP and SAP will apply for complete weeks commencing on or after 1 April 2012, for SSP this will apply from 6 April 2012.
