Meet the team
MIKE O’BRIEN
Mike is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has over 20 years experience of working in public practice in Northamptonshire specialising in the accounting and taxation needs of small businesses and individuals. Mike is married with one child, a daughter. When he gets the opportunity he likes to watch football occasionally attending live matches. Mike studied History at Leeds University before training at a firm in Kettering.
PAUL MARKS
Paul is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants completing his professional examinations in 1996 after studying at Coventry University. He specialises in onsite services for our clients in particular management accounts preparation, accounts software implementation and training, VAT returns and general business advice. Along with his time spent working in practice Paul was the managing director of Vacuum Services (Leicester) Limited for a number of years. This helped give Paul a particular insight into the day to day workings and needs of small businesses. He lives in Market Harborough is married with two teenage step children and a five year old son. Paul is the treasurer and a founder member of the Market Harborough Working Breakfast a business networking group which meets weekly and also a committee member of the Harborough Screen campaign which is bringing a cinema back to his home town of Market Harborough for the first time in over 30 years.
